Paper for printing your artwork
When you print your artwork you have to think about the type of paper to use. Photographic paper is fine in matte or gloss but I prefer using a fine art paper for my work. The first I tried was Hahnmuhle Photo Rag fine art paper. It turned out beautifully! It was printed by my online service, beautifully packaged in a sturdy cardboard box and the art piece was layered between ‘acid-free’ tissue paper so as not to ruin it. Needless to say they did a wonderful job! It was similar to a ‘museum’ quality paper and enhanced my image fantastically. I mention Hahnmuhle fine art paper but there are many high quality papers out there. I’ve also just bought some Epson Matte photographic heavy paper and the image I printed on my own ‘Brother’ printer came out extremely well.

Next time I’ll be talking about framing and packaging/shipping artwork.
I’m always delighted to receive any feedback or comments!
